As an individual who, with the help of medical technology, is giving her time and talent to improve the quality of life for others, Stephanna is an ideal candidate for the Bakkan Award. 10 from over five hundred applicants will be chosen as winners and each winner will receive an award of $20,000 donated to a charity of their choosing.

2016 UNA International Student welcome event took place on August 21st at the Birch Creek club house. There were 25 students from many countries around the world.   Others attending were over 30 members comprising of UNA Coastal Carolina board members, UNA members, and local supporters.
